BitcloudSweeps operates a network of affiliated gaming accounts and needed payment infrastructure that matched the model. LightningPay's affiliate account infrastructure made it operational.

Company

Bitcloud Sweeps is a cloud-based sweepstakes gaming platform offering players a wide library of fish games, slots, keno, and other titles accessible on both Android and iOS. Thousands of players engage across the platform around the clock, competing for Bitcloud credits and real-world rewards.

What makes Bitcloud operationally distinct from single-operator platforms is its network model. Rather than running as a standalone operator, Bitcloud manages a set of affiliated gaming accounts, each sitting within its own payment structure, each generating transaction activity that flows back through the network.

Making that model work at scale required payment infrastructure designed for multi-account control, not just single-operator settlement.

Challenge

Bitcloud Sweeps was not looking to solve the same problem as a direct-to-player casino operator. The challenge was structural: How to run a network of affiliated accounts as a viable, monetisable business.

  • Each affiliated account in the network needed its own payment capability, the ability to receive deposits and send funds independently, without requiring a separate processor relationship per account

  • Bitcloud needed to earn a defined commission on top of the base processing fee for every payment that moved through an affiliated account, with that fee structure configurable per relationship rather than fixed globally

  • Managing payments and fund flows across multiple affiliated accounts through manual processes or fragmented tools was not scalable as the network grew

  • API-level control over payment creation and fund disbursement for each affiliated account was essential; the team needed to act on behalf of those accounts programmatically, not log into individual dashboards to trigger transactions

  • The commission structure had to be transparent and automatically applied, rather than reconciled manually after the fact

Bitcloud needed a payment infrastructure that was built for a network operator.

Solution

Bitcloud Sweeps integrated LightningPay's API to build a multi-account affiliate payment network with a custom commission layer embedded at the infrastructure level.

  • LightningPay's affiliate account model allowed Bitcloud to create individual accounts for each affiliated operator within its network, each with its own payment identity and transaction history

  • For each affiliate account, Bitcloud defined a custom fee on top of LightningPay's base processing rate, establishing the commission structure directly in the account configuration rather than managing it through external reconciliation

  • API keys were generated per affiliated account, giving Bitcloud the ability to create Bitcoin Lightning payments and initiate fund disbursements programmatically on behalf of each account, without requiring manual access to individual account interfaces

  • Every payment created through the API carried Bitcloud's defined fee layer automatically, ensuring commission was captured on every transaction across the network without additional handling

  • Fund flows, both inbound payments and outbound disbursements, were managed centrally through Bitcloud's API integration, with each affiliated account's activity visible and actionable from a single operational point

Results

  • Bitcloud established a scalable network of affiliated gaming accounts, each with independent payment capability, managed through a single API integration rather than separate processor relationships

  • Commission income began accruing automatically on every transaction processed through the network, with the fee structure applied at the infrastructure level rather than calculated and reconciled post-payment

  • Payment creation and fund disbursement across affiliated accounts moved from a manual, account-by-account process to a fully programmatic one, with no operator intervention required per transaction

  • The network scaled without adding proportional operational overhead. Onboarding a new affiliated account meant creating an account and configuring a fee structure, not rebuilding a payment workflow

  • Bitcloud's ability to act as a payment intermediary for its affiliated network was formalised through a clean API-driven architecture, giving the business a structured and repeatable revenue model tied directly to payment volume

How they did it

Bitcloud Sweeps connected to LightningPay's API and used the affiliate account infrastructure to set up individual accounts for each operator in its network. Each account was configured with a custom fee on top of LightningPay's base rate, defining Bitcloud's commission margin per affiliate relationship.

API keys generated for each affiliated account gave Bitcloud programmatic control over payment creation and fund disbursement, allowing the team to initiate Bitcoin Lightning transactions on behalf of any affiliated account without manual access to that account's interface.

Payments received through any affiliated account automatically triggered the configured fee split, with Bitcloud's commission settled at the point of transaction rather than reconciled separately.

The integration required no custom middleware and worked within Bitcloud's existing cloud-based operational setup.

"We needed more than a payment processor; we needed infrastructure that understood our network model. LightningPay lets us build our affiliate structure directly into how payments work. Every account has its own payment capability; our commission is built into the fee layer, and we manage everything through the API. It made a complicated business model surprisingly straightforward to run."
